BPCA Course Booking, Assessment & Refund Policy
1. Course Delivery
All BPCA courses are delivered in person by qualified tutors and follow a structured syllabus designed to provide coaching education, assessment opportunities, and professional development.
We guarantee:
-
Professional course delivery
-
Access to coaching instruction, feedback, and assessment
-
A fair and transparent assessment process
We do not guarantee:
-
A specific qualification outcome
-
A pass at any particular level
-
Employment, progression, or appointment with any club or third party
2. Assessment Outcomes
All qualifications and certification levels awarded are based solely on performance demonstrated during the course and assessment period.
Assessment decisions are made by the tutor/assessor using BPCA criteria and professional judgement. These decisions are final unless a formal appeals process is followed (see Section 6).
Disagreement with, or disappointment about, an assessment outcome does not constitute a failure of course delivery.
3. Playing Level vs Coaching Level
Improvement in personal playing ability during a course is a common and positive outcome of coaching education. However, improvements in playing level do not automatically equate to readiness for a higher coaching qualification.
Coaching awards are based on coaching competence, not solely playing performance.
4. Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
-
Failure to achieve a desired qualification level
-
Dissatisfaction with an assessment outcome
-
Change of personal circumstances or professional objectives
-
Employment or application outcomes related to third-party clubs or organisations
By booking a course, participants acknowledge that initiating a payment dispute or chargeback on the basis of assessment outcome or perceived entitlement to a pass is not valid grounds for refund.
BPCA reserves the right to contest any chargeback where the course was delivered as described.
5. Employment and Third-Party Decisions
BPCA courses are independent educational programmes.
BPCA is not responsible for:
-
Hiring decisions
-
Job offers or applications
-
Internal club requirements
-
Role eligibility or progression determined by third parties
Participation in a BPCA course does not guarantee employment or appointment in any coaching role.
6. Appeals Process
If a candidate believes that an assessment decision was procedurally unfair, they may submit a written appeal within 7 days of the course conclusion.
Appeals must relate to process, not outcome preference. Appeals based solely on disappointment with the level awarded will not be upheld.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and attending a BPCA course, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full
