About Us:

CEO - Royston Kymberly

Royston Kymberly has been a high performance tennis coach for over 30 years and over the last 20 years he has intently studied and applied neuroscientific approaches to tennis coaching. 

Royston was head of the British Tennis Coaches Association for 12 years and he has worked with some of the most successful coaches in the sport and now applies his knowledge not only to Padel but also works within the Mental Health Support Sector with the Suicide Intervention Service 'Friends For Lives' where he is currently CEO .  

His passion for Padel started way back in 2010 after a training visit to Spain and he started the BPCA initiative in 2012.  He was highly influential in the introduction of the sport to the UK and is committed to representing coaches, clubs, players and service providers who also love the fantastic sport that is Padel.

BPCA has the fastest growing Padel coach education programme available and in line with the rapid growth of the sport BPCA has quickly grown to become the largest fraternity of Padel professionals in the UK. 

Royston believes that the game of Padel belongs to everyone and BPCA will always represent whoever wishes to play and/or teach it.

"If we allow the sport  to grow naturally and just support that organic process and avoid over-restrictive regulation, then Padel will grow and be here for everyone to love and play and coach".

What is the role of the BPCA?

The BPCA is the Independent Association for all UK Padel Coaches. 

BPCA also provide 'Padel Coach Insurance' to all Padel coaches in the UK. 

The main aim of the BPCA is to promote and service Padel Coaches and the sport of Padel at all levels.

Our mission is to educate, certify and service the UK's Padel teachers and coaches  in order to enhance and grow the game.

The British Padel Coaches Association are soundly committed to supporting players, coaches, clubs and investors in Padel to enjoy the sport and to help them to grow the game of Padel here.

BPCA are firmly against restrictive monopolisation and over-regulation of the game of Padel which will only result in limiting the organic growth of the sport.

BPCA members are part of the largest fraternity of Padel Coaches in the UK.

Why is it important to join BPCA?

BPCA coaches are covered by Public & Employer Liability Insurance to cover them to coach Padel, Tennis and also Pickleball.  This makes joining the BPCA the most comprehensive, flexible and value for money association membership available.

Membership is open to any reputable individual that holds or is working towards a recognised Padel Coaching qualification. We also provide coaches with development courses to help ensure that all Padel Coaches can put together quality padel coaching programs.

What else does BPCA do?

BPCA establishes relationships with top Padel brands such as 'Tasty', in order to provide UK coaches with the very best equipment deals possible. 

BPCA also works with corporate partners within the Padel Provision Industry in order to help them develop and promote new Padel facilities and programs throughout the UK.

BPCA also hosts many fun, informative and competitive Padel events throughout the year that keeps clubs and players engaged and BPCA coaches in touch with what’s happening in Padel, nationally and internationally

BPCA also help promote competitive opportunities and provide advice and support for coaches and coaching academies throughout the UK.
