BPCA  3 day Qualification Course. 

2 days on court 1 day online...

The off-court element of the course will be an online task and simple test paper that can be done in the students own time.  This element should take just over half a day to complete and then once assessed and marked by the course tutor, additional submissions may be required prior to a pass approval.

Royston Kymberly

"The Head Honcho".

 

Royston is head of BPCA and has been a high performance racket sports coach for over 30 years and over the last 20 years he has intently studied and applied neuroscientific approaches to coaching.  Royston is President of the British Tennis Coaches Association and was their National Manager for 12 years 


Royston has worked with some of the most successful coaches in the world, and now applies his knowledge to coaching Padel. His passion for Padel started way back in 2010 after a training visit to Spain.  He started the BPCA initiative in 2012 and was highly influential in the introduction of Padel to the UK and is now committed to training the sports coaches to the highest of standards. .

Riikka Laine

Riikka is the brain behind the scenes at “Tasty” and her Mantra is “if she can do it, so can you”. Riikka slices the ball so low you need a shovel to dig it out. Her path is to teach the easy way. This makes learning from Riikka a real confidence booster. Often working directly alongside Gabo, if Gabo is the beef in the burger Riikka is the salad dressing.   She, is a great coach who will simply help you get there too.

Minter is an amazing coach and player who is one of the worlds leading authorities on the game.  He is an award-winning author and filmmaker, has been playing padel tennis for nearly 50 years, having started at the age at 10 in 1974 on the very first "public" padel tennis court at the Marbella Club. He has played padel in fifteen countries and tends to play 3-4 times each week in London, where he's based. He is a great communicator who will teach you all you need to be a great coach.

Gabo Loredo Almanza

Gabo has travelled the world with a racket in his hand teaching Padel for more than 10 years.  He is one of the most respected coaches in the world of Padel and is a champion of the Argentinian style. He loves push up punishments and, swearing in Spanish but Padel is in his heart and he cares deeply about his players and students. Being on court with Gabo is an experience you will never forget!

Diego Javier Lupiáñez

Diego was a professional padel player between 1993 and 1999 and is a Padel coach with more than 20 years experience. Diego has coached some of the top players on the Padel circuit and has a fantastic presence on court.  Everything with Diego is to the max and the high quality and intensity of his sessions are fused with a wonderful sense of humour that is very much the BPCA way.

Steve has been working within the racket sports community for over 30 years both in the UK and abroad. He is one of the most influential people in UK padel and is passionate about getting people from every walk of life in to the sports that he loves and has been doing this since he founded Will to Win in 1995.

 

Steve is a level 5 LTA tennis coach and a BPCA Professional Padel Coach and simply a great coach and coach tutor.

BPCA Coaching Qualifications.. .

BPCA Padel Coach Qualifications provide the training, and good practice standards necessary for the delivery and management of Padel, and the tuition of padel tactics and techniques.  

 

BPCA  qualifications guarantee correct standards of both play and coaching ability.

 

The BPCA Professional Padel Coach Qualification courses include:

  • Annual BPCA Membership.
  • Full UK Coaching Insurance Liability Cover.
  • All additional benefits allocated to full memebership.

These courses are the 'gold standard' for professional coaching qualifications and are not therefore simply awarded upon attendance. 

You must meet the level required to complete and pass.  However we will endeavour to assist you to pass beyond the course completion date via ongoing support where practical to do so.                 


PRE-REQUISITES FOR ACCEPTANCE & APPROVAL:

Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Students must already hold a coaching qualification in another racket sport or have a very good level of playing ability in Padel.
